Rider: ASHLEY GREEDY #33

Ashley has been racing since he was just 9 years old
He races his bike almost every weekend but if there is an odd weekend with no racing he can be found on a jet ski jumping the waves and racing around on the water.
During weekdays he attends school and attains 100% attendance certificates on a regular basis, having just passed all his GCSE, Exams in 2007, he has stayed on in the 6th form to study for his A levels. With his success in the Weston Beach Race achieving 5th two years running he did his first Enduro (The first round of the Great Britain X Country and achieved 3rd behind Knight and Jason Thomas with a very competitive field of enduro riders behind.
Ash regularly has his picture and results shown in the Off Road Sport Magazines and papers and he has also appeared on TV in a number of events. The latest one being, this coming Sunday on Sky Sports Extra at 4pm when the 1st round of the GBXC Event will be televised.

Ashley's major achievements to date include;
YOUTH

  • 2003 BYMX Small wheel 85cc Champion
  • 2003 Youth Des Nations Team Event Winners
  • 2004 Sponsorship from Team Green Kawasaki
  • 2003/2004 Future West Supercross Big Wheel 85cc Champion
  • 2004/2005 Future West Supercross Series saw Ash start the series on the Big wheel 85cc and win his final race in the Millennium Stadium Cardiff before moving up onto the 125cc
  • 2005 Ash at just 14 moved up to the Intermediate 125cc group and battled through the BYMX series competing with the 250 four strokes, winning the 1st round and finishing 3rd in the Championship taking a podium position on his 1st attempt in the group.
  • 2005 Champion of Champions - 125cc Intermediate class
  • 2005 British Masters Supercoss 125cc Youth Champion
  • 2005 Weston Beach Minibike Race Champion
  • 2006 BYMX Premier Champion
  • 2006 World Mini Trophy (Belgium) Champion

ADULT

  • 2006 British Masters Series Ash took 2nd place in both the youth and Pro 125 groups after missing the first round of the series due to a school skiing holiday
  • 2006 Rhayader Evening Series Welsh 125cc Pro Champion
  • 2006 at just 16 years Ash entered the main Weston Beach Race on his Honda 250cc 2 stroke machine and finished 5th.
  • 2006 Dortmund Supercross Ash finished 5th.
  • 2006 Goes Supercross Ash had to settle for 2nd with less than a wheel separating him from the winner.
  • 2007 Under 21 Championship Ash finished 3rd in the Championship
  • 2007 British Masters Championship Ash took the title of British Masters 125cc Pro Champion.
  • 2007 Maxxis ACU British Championship Ash finished 13th overall after continuous bad luck on the starts
  • 2007 Weston Beach Race - 5th behind Ramon, Coppins, Anderson & Potisek
  • 2007 Dutch Supercross Championship Two rounds at Goes & Schindel Ash took the title of Dutch Supercross Champion
  • 2007 German Supercross Series Three rounds Stuttgart, Chemnitz and Dortmund attained podium positions in both Chemnitz and Dortmund.
  • 2007/2008 British Supercross Pro Lites & Open Class 4th behind Facciotti, Roy & Bradshaw (Lites) and Brown, Roy & Facciotti (Open).
  • 2008 GBXC 1st Round 3rd position behind Knight & Thomas

Dad (Anthony Greedy) also rides although he has gone into semi retirement after breaking his femur in the 1997 Weston Beach Race after having taking part in the race every year since 1990, but 2007 he came out of retirement and Both Ashley and dad competed
