A report at last after a couple of quiet weeks starting with the cancellation of the British Masters at Pontrillas.

Then at Rhayader on Wednesday evening the electric's of the bike played up in the wet during practice leaving Ash unable to ride.

Then, last weekend Ash was at the 3rd round of the GBXC and had an excellent start 3rd going off the start and even passing Knight twice in the opening stages to momentarily lay in 2nd place. Lying in 3rd place for the opening few laps Ash was going well but on a regular motocross bike having to fuel up every 2 laps Ash soon dropped down to 5th place with a comfortable gap before 6th.

Around 30 minutes before the end of the race Ash was guided off the track by the marshalls to avoid a crash on the track and going through he ferns he ended up down a big crevice and snapped his clutch lever off.

With the rugged terrain of the Welsh mountains he was unable to continue and had to pull out.

Better news this weekend at the Under 21's in Blaxhall Pitts
Ash qualified in 3rd place behind Snow & Whatley with just a 0.3 second gap between all three of them.

Race 1 Ash had a great start chasing Snow in 2nd place Ash got caught up in a bale and dropped back to 5th but with determination fought his way back to 2nd behind Snow.

Race 2 another reasonably good start, Ash was in 3rd but a mistake dropped him back leaving him to finish in 4th place.

3rd overall on the day and lying 3rd in the Championship.

Next weekend Ash will be in Foxhills for the next round of the Maxxis.
Speak to you soon.
